Renadyl® – what is this product?

 

RENADYL

Renadyl® is a specialized probiotic developed for people with kidney disease. It contains three specific strains of bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus KB-27, Bifidobacterium longum KB-31, and Streptococcus thermophilus KB-19. According to the manufacturer, these strains have the ability to capture and metabolize nitrogen toxins in the intestines before they reach the bloodstream and burden the kidneys.

Renadyl® is completely safe, cannot be overdosed, and does not interact with drugs such as ACEIs, ARBs, SGLT2 inhibitors, or GLP-1 receptor agonists. It can also be used in children and breastfeeding women.

Who might find it helpful?

Renadyl® may be considered as a dietary supplement for individuals with chronic kidney disease, particularly those in stages 3–5 prior to dialysis, if there are no contraindications. It may also be of interest to patients who wish to support their microbiome in a more kidney-focused manner.
